In this book, I shall not speak of riches in a figurative way; to be really rich does not mean to be satisfied or contented with a little. No man ought to be satisfied with a little if he is capable of using and enjoying more. The purpose of Nature is the advancement and unfoldment of life; and every man should have all that can contribute to the power, elegance, beauty, and richness of life; to be content with less is sinful.

Wallace Wattles wrote this book to help us understand how to think in a manner that brings us to the point of being rich. He wasn’t writing this to skirt that issue.

He was writing this book in order to help wrap our minds around what thinking was necessary to accumulate and use money in a manner that would help be all that we could be. To live in a manner that would allow us to make use of all the resources we need to fulfill the desires we have.

It is our right to be rich!

He further explains that we should not be satisfied in a little if we are capable of doing more. For us to hold ourselves back is a sin. Sin means to miss the mark.

When we hold back, the universe holds back from us. It is cause and effect.

Here is the key here, everyone has their own level of fulfillment. This is a personal choice.

Here is a determiner of whether you are there or not, If you complain about anything that is out of your control, you are not there. If you know that you are the master of your own destiny and you are working to achieve everything that you desire, you are on your way.

Next post we will further explore the first chapter of this great book, “The Science of Getting Rich”!
