A man develops in mind, soul, and body by making use of things, and society is so organized that man must have money in order to become the possessor of things; therefore, the basis of all advancement for man must be the science of getting rich.

As human beings the only way we can develop in mind, soul and body is by making use of things.

We needs books and schools to develop our minds. The level of education depends on the amount of money you have.

It costs a lot more to go to an Ivy league school compared to your local community college.

You generally get a lot more from a $2000 home study course than you do from a book out of the library. Side note here: Either is useless without the application of the knowledge.

As we mentioned in the last posting, society is organized in a manner that bartering was replaced with currency as the medium of exchange. This is a wonderful system because it allows you to focus on what you contribute, instead of trying to arrange for bartering arrangements.

When we start to focus ourselves on the unique value that we provide and concentrate our efforts on becoming better and marketing our services in a manner that brings us the most qualified people for the product or services we provide, we are working in a manner that leverages our time and efforts in the best possible way.

Napoleon Hill, in the great book Think and Grow Rich, gives us a great example of a typical breakfast in an unorganized society and the cost related compared to a breakfast from an organized society. It is a real eye opener and I encourage you to read it when you get a chance. Check out the Study Course Here.

Wallace Wattles is making the point that in order to fulfill yourself in the best possible way can only be achieved by The Science of Getting Rich. In order to make use of all the things you need to fully develop your mind, soul and body, you need to be rich and on top of that it is your “RIGHT” to be rich.

All you need to do is apply the science. Not only the parts that you feel confident with but all of it without exclusion.

In part 3, we will be examining the next paragraph in the Chapter 1 – The Right to Be Rich.

The unfortunate thing about getting that idea in their heads is that they are activating the Law of Attraction and this creates the fact for them, that these ideas do not work.

The fact is the ideas presented in these books do work without exclusion.

The problem that a lot of people face is that they want to work on the ideas that are comfortable for them while dismissing the ideas that they find challenging.

When they do this they are dismissing the ideas that they should be focusing on the most and in doing so, doom themselves to inevitable failure.

The ideas are presented in a manner that requires full submission to these principles, not defiance. When you work against the ideas, they will work against you and they will always win. These are laws that have been around since the beginning of human time and will continue forever.

Wallace Wattles explains it perfectly:

THERE is a Science of getting rich, and it is an exact science, like algebra or arithmetic. There are certain laws which govern the process of acquiring riches; once these laws are learned and obeyed by any man, he will get rich with mathematical certainty.

Think about that for a second…

“Once the laws are learned and OBEYED by any man, he will get rich with mathematical certainty.”

Lets examine this for a second…

It’s not good enough to only have learned the the LAW, you must put that LAW into practice. You must take action on that LAW.

If you do not OBEY, you will not benefit from it’s power.

Remember the old song, “I fought the Law but Law won.” That song lyric has a profound meaning.

If you don’t take action on a part of the law because you are not comfortable with it, you will lose the benefit of the that law.

If you faithfully obey the law, you will receive full benefit from the law.

You see it all the time on the Internet and on the informercials you see on Sunday morning. You know the one I’m talking about, you can buy real estate from the state and federal government for the back taxes. Yeah, that one.

The unfortunate thing about those informercials is that they are trying to sell you on the fact that you can get something for nothing or for very little effort.

And this is a SICKNESS that we face as a society. The politicians pander to it every election with promises of something for nothing or worse yet, taking money in the form of taxes from someone who has busted their a** and giving it to someone who is “less fortunate” than them to make things more “equitable”.

Although, in the end, the only true way to accumulate riches and to live the true life you desire is to serve a desire that someone else has in a profitable way.

And the more people you serve in a profitable way, the richer you become. The more people you positively touch with what you do, the greater results you get.

We need others.

We need their desires.

If you take the steps that Napoleon Hill laid out for us, in his great book Think and Grow Rich:

1. You have a desire – This desire has to be a burning desire, a white hot burning desire or you won’t want to pay the price to achieve it.

2. What are you going to do in return for what you desire – This is where you have to use some creativity and some thought. This is where you need to tap into the desire of others and find a profitable way to positively serve these people.

There are steps beyond this that you can read in this great book. I just wanted to give you a basis on which to start.

We need others to profitably serve, without others there is no profit. Without profit, there is no riches.

It is my belief that we were put on this earth to serve others with our unique talents and abilities. The more people we serve the greater the riches.

For example, if it the accumulation of money that you desire, starting to save 10% of all the money you take in and not touching it ever will eventually lead you to financial freedom. This one small thing if concentrated on and followed will lead you to all the riches you can possibly want.

The saying goes, “The devil is in the details.” It’s the little things that accumulate over long periods of time that will either help you or hurt you.

I was listening to one of the speakers that I listen to on a regular basis and he said money will solve almost any problem you have.

Money can help you move mountains.

Money can get you the best medical treatment you may need.

Money can help you help as many people as you would like.

Money can open doors that are closed to you now.

Money can help you take advantage of opportunities that may be closed to you now.

Money can help you help people you don’t even know for generations after your passing.

But it all starts with the desire to accumulate wealth.

And that all starts with putting a little of all you earn away and not touching it.

W. Clement Stone, who was a student of Napoleon Hill, said “If you can not save money, the seed of greatness is not in you.”

The greater the fire under your desire the better the chance you have to achieve it.

The fire is what will cause you to take action towards your desire.

In Napoleon Hill’s great book, Think and Grow Rich, he says that the starting point to all achievement is DESIRE.

BURNING DESIRE!

Can you recall a time when you wanted something so bad that there was nothing that was going to hold you back?  And you got it.

That was a BURNING DESIRE.

Napoleon also goes on to say that you need to fan the flames on your desire until it becomes WHITE HOT. Now if you don’t know what white hot is, that is when you get something so hot that you can mold it into shape you want.

One of the greatest things about this is that you can desire anything. It’s the heat behind it that causes you to take action.

And don’t forget ACTION is the key that unlocks the door to what you desire.

Lets examine this statement for a minute.

Use Value – The amount of time savings and benefit that you or they receive by using your product.

Cash Value – The actual value used to assemble the goods you buy

Let’s take a look at a CD and tape program that you would buy for $297 about real estate.

Let’s say that it cost approximately $30 to produce the CD or tape program. Is it fair to pay $297 for this product?

Well let’s say that you listen to this program and use some of the ideas presented in the program and profit from this information and make a profit of $10,000 after buying this program.

Was it worth the amount you paid for the program now?

Of course it is!

Use value is the key to riches and your success.

My guess is that if you are reading this blog you have spent some money on CD, tape programs or books. Now you may be thinking to yourself, “I am constantly spending my money on these programs but nothing has worked.”

Well the missing ingredient here is non application of the ideas presented in the program due to fear.

So how do riches come to you with this information?

Well you have to produce products or services that provide more in USE value to your market than they would pay you for it.

How does your market profit from the use of your product?

Then you have to market this to your potential customers in a manner that shows the valuable benefits of the products or service that you provide.

Once you get the idea, speed is of the essence. You must move fast to get it the market place. Any delay could leave you in the dust.

You often hear about some inventors who just missed getting the patent that could have secured their name on the idea that made the other inventor set for life.

Another example is Ray Kroc and the McDonald brothers, the McDonald brothers were content with their situation but Ray Kroc had a much bigger vision for the process of serving burgers and fries.

Or how about Bill Gates… he bought the original DOS program and ended up licensing the product to IBM instead of selling the program to them. That one idea made him the richest man in the world.

Another idea that comes to mind when I think about Bill Gates and Microsoft is that, “You don’t have to get it right, you’ve just got to get it going!”

Most people will wait for the perfect plan before launching. I can assure you that Microsoft never waited to make sure their programs were perfect before they shipped them. If anyone has ever faced the blue screen you know what I’m talking about.

Anyways… you are only one idea away from the idea that will make you a fortune. But you need to act on the idea fast and in a bold way.

When you study this subject it requires both thinking and action and not only action but congruent action. It requires that you act in a way that moves you towards what you are looking to achieve, keeping your eye on the prize the whole way.

If you are looking to lose weight, stopping at the donut shop everyday is not congruent with the weight lose goal.

There are ways to start getting your actions congruent with your ultimate goal.

The first step is to find examples of people who have already achieved what you are looking to do and then start to do what they do.

I’ve never held back in this blog that action is required for success. But it requires  “right action”.

I find it funny that most people would prefer to reinvent the wheel, than to do what is relatively easy to mirror.

The steps outlined in “Think and Grow Rich” are easy to do. So most people will dismiss them as already “knowing that” and continue on with their self imposed suffering.

When your actions are congruent with your ultimate goal you will achieve it. There is no doubt about it.

Are you happy now? If not, why not?

If you think you are, is it based on your feeling of well being?

One of the trickiest parts of working on our success goals and objectives is being happy on the journey. And this happiness can only come from within us. If our happiness is waiting for the reaching these goals and objectives we are wasting a lot of time.

Success and Happiness has to be the journey. You may ask yourself . “Why is that?”

And I say that because if it were about the attainment, then happiness and success would be short lived. And we would be spending a lot of time being unhappy.

Think about it, if you can’t be happy now when will you be happy.

I believe happiness comes from living based on your true values and your vision and working towards that everyday.

This applies to any situation you may find yourself in… good or bad.

When you are in a bad situation, if you look at it as a learning situation then it changes the way you look at bad situations. If you find yourself in that situation often you haven’t learned the lesson yet and you need to get back to the drawing board.

So decide to be happy now… if you are in a bad situation then find the lesson you need to learn and get past it. It could be the biggest break through you ever have.

Everything that we need to succeed is already here. All we need to do is become aware of it. We need to be open to receive it as well.

Think about this for a second…

According to recorded history, over two thousand years ago planes did not exist. Why is that relevant today?

Well there are still things, that we are not aware of that we will look back at 2000 years from now and go, “WOW!, they didn’t have _______ ?”

Back two thousand years ago, we didn’t have awareness to produce planes.

So what changed in that time frame:

1. Our thinking – we took the lid off of our thinking. We became aware of natural laws and used them to our benefit.

2. Our technology – we found ways to leverage our time. In order to think more.

3. Our Beliefs – at one time we thought the earth was flat, at one time we thought our hearts would explode if we ran a mile in under 4 minutes

There have been many more things that changed. But the fact remains that everything that we need is right here and right now. The only thing that has to change is the awareness of the things we need to accomplish what we desire.
