A man’s highest happiness is found in the bestowal of benefits on those he loves; love finds its most natural and spontaneous expression in giving. The man who has nothing to give cannot fill his place as a husband or father, as a citizen, or as a man. It is in the use of material things that a man finds full life for his body, develops his mind, and unfolds his soul. It is therefore of supreme importance to him that he should be rich.

It is perfectly right that you should desire to be rich; if you are a normal man or woman you cannot help doing so. It is perfectly right that you should give your best attention to the Science of Getting Rich, for it is the noblest and most necessary of all studies. If you neglect this study, you are derelict in your duty to yourself, to God and humanity; for you can render to God and humanity no greater service than to make the most of yourself.

The ability to provide for your family is all based on your ability to produce a profitable result for others willing to pay for your services. The more profitable a service you provide the greater your ability to provide for your family.

More marriages are lost due to problems with money… Can you imagine that? Yet we are programmed to believe that love comes before money.

Isn’t that interesting.

Think about the second paragraph for a second…

If you are not making a concerted effort to be all you can be, you are doing yourself, God and the rest of humanity a huge disservice.

Remember, You have the Right to be Rich. In order for you to live fully in all aspects of your life require you to have the use of things for you to expand your soul, mind and body.

He cannot live fully in mind without books and time to study them, without opportunity for travel and observation, or without intellectual companionship.

To live fully in mind he must have intellectual recreations, and must surround himself with all the objects of art and beauty he is capable of using and appreciating.

To live fully in soul, man must have love; and love is denied expression by poverty.

Think about the above statements for a second…

For us to live our lives to the fullest we need knowledge. Which requires books, study material and more importantly time to study this material. I like to take this a step further and say that we even need to have the time to APPLY the knowledge we learn in order to create a result.

We need the ability to travel and observe different cultures. We need to be able to learn about from where we come from. What our ancesters were about and their history.

We need to have things of beauty, such as works of art and the like. Beyond that we need to also create things that others can enjoy and appreciate as well.

Living in POVERTY, does not allow us to live fully.

As we will discover further in this book, even if you are in a situation of poverty, you have tht power to start to get yourself out of this situation starting right where you are at.
