That the above statement is true is shown by the following facts:
Getting rich is not a matter of environment, for, if it were, all the people in certain neighborhoods would become wealthy; the people of one city would all be rich, while those of other towns would all be poor; or the inhabitants of one state would roll in wealth, while those of an adjoining state would be in poverty.
But everywhere we see rich and poor living side by side, in the same environment, and often engaged in the same vocations. When two men are in the same locality, and in the same business, and one gets rich while the other remains poor, it shows that getting rich is not, primarily, a matter of environment. Some environments may be more favorable than others, but when two men in the same business are in the same neighborhood, and one gets rich while the other fails, it indicates that getting rich is the result of doing things in a Certain Way.
And further, the ability to do things in this certain way is not due solely to the possession of talent, for many people who have great talent remain poor, while other who have very little talent get rich.
Before you start on this post make sure to get over to yesterdays post and read that one at There is A Science of Getting Rich (Part 1) .
Now on to todays post…
Take a look around you, don’t you think that it is amazing that you can have two people sitting side by side doing the same job, dealing with the same customer base and one person is getting rich and the other person is not.
And the person who is not getting rich is a more talented salesperson.
This is even more proof that getting rich is a matter of doing things in a certain way NOT by doing certain things. There is a very profound difference and it is extremely important to realize that. The sooner, the better.
Let’s take a look at the neighborhood…
You have one gym that is packed everyday with willing people to pay the owner for helping them get fit and not two blocks away you have another gym owner who can’t afford to pay to keep the lights on.
Again another example of one person doing things in a certain way, and the other person not doing things in a certain way.
How about the boy or girl from the ghetto who came from nothing to become a huge success in business?
Was that person, just lucky? Or is there something bigger going on here.
The fact is the people who you see that are TRULY financially fit are doing things in a certain way and that is why riches come to them in increasing amounts. And it comes whether they are conscious of the fact that they are doing things in a certain way or not.
The great thing about this is that this opportunity is available to EVERYONE who is open to the study of this science and the application of these success laws.
