People are always looking for a path to become rich.
You see it all the time on the Internet and on the informercials you see on Sunday morning. You know the one I’m talking about, you can buy real estate from the state and federal government for the back taxes. Yeah, that one.
The unfortunate thing about those informercials is that they are trying to sell you on the fact that you can get something for nothing or for very little effort.
And this is a SICKNESS that we face as a society. The politicians pander to it every election with promises of something for nothing or worse yet, taking money in the form of taxes from someone who has busted their a** and giving it to someone who is “less fortunate” than them to make things more “equitable”.
Although, in the end, the only true way to accumulate riches and to live the true life you desire is to serve a desire that someone else has in a profitable way.
And the more people you serve in a profitable way, the richer you become. The more people you positively touch with what you do, the greater results you get.
We need others.
We need their desires.
If you take the steps that Napoleon Hill laid out for us, in his great book Think and Grow Rich:
1. You have a desire - This desire has to be a burning desire, a white hot burning desire or you won’t want to pay the price to achieve it.
2. What are you going to do in return for what you desire - This is where you have to use some creativity and some thought. This is where you need to tap into the desire of others and find a profitable way to positively serve these people.
There are steps beyond this that you can read in this great book. I just wanted to give you a basis on which to start.
We need others to profitably serve, without others there is no profit. Without profit, there is no riches.
It is my belief that we were put on this earth to serve others with our unique talents and abilities. The more people we serve the greater the riches.
