The Science of Getting Rich and High Gas Prices

High Gas Prices!

High Food Prices!

High Prices on Air Travel!

The news headlines that we hear everyday remind us just how horrible things are out there for us!

When you are thinking in a certain way, these situations shouldn’t be effecting you in a negative way.

You may be saying to yourself, “Come on, John, when will all this madness stop.”

To that I say, for you, it will stop when you start to focus on what you are here to do.

When you focus on outside circumstances that effect you and make you unhappy, you are turning over power that you can use to help others in a positive and profitable way.

All this stuff that is happening out there is noise to try and get your attention. If it does get your attention then you are losing the battle.

If you continue on with your goals and objectives in spite of all the noise, you are moving in the right direction and thinking in the certain way.

Here are some tips on drowning out the noise that may be holding you back:

1. Turn off the TV, radio and Internet news sites. When you turn these vision crushers off you will start to feel better almost immediately. There is little or no positive programming on any of these medias.

2. Turn on your CD player or iPod and start to listen to learning programs that will help you positively and profitably serve others. This is where the rubber meets the road.

3. Start to get around people who espouse the type of person you want to become. This can be scary because we are creatures of habit and this may be very hard to do. But when you start to get out with people who are moving and grooving, you will start to do the same.

4. Keep you vision crystal clear and in front of everyday, several times a day. When you maintain this vision fresh in your mind everyday it will become a part of you.

5. Take action. Do not waste anytime. Take action towards your goal or objective now! And continue taking action until you reach this goal. When you continue to focus your efforts moving towards your goal, it will gain momentum and you will find that it is here in no time. There is a simple test to let you know if you are doing the right thing:

If the action you are taking is not moving you towards your goal, then you need to stop that action and get back to taking action towards it.

If the action you are taking is moving you towards your goal, then continue and find ways to become more efficient with your action and try to find ways to leverage this action.

Our focused effort will always determine our level of success and the more we maintain our focus on our goals and objectives the faster they become a reality in our lives.

Make sure you have a balanced set of goals that include: career, finance, fitness, relationships, community, spiritual

Once you make this a habitual way of thinking, you will be thinking in the certain way and your life will change for the better forever.

Great article, John and so very true. I especially like #2 and #3. We become what we think about all day long, as Earl Nightengale said and what we put into our minds has a lot to do with that. And, as my hero, Charlie Tremendous Jones said, “Your future is determined by the books you read and the people you hang out with.”

To that I’d add, if you want to win the gas & price wars, devote some time to exploring ways you can increase your income and create multiple streams of income.
