There is a lot of talk about the Law of Attraction lately with the release of “The Secret.”
As I understand the Law of Attraction, which I am currently trying to work on myself, the Law of Attraction is similar to tuning forks for a piano. When you hit the tuning fork on the side of the piano it will start to vibrate and very shortly after the piano sting that is in harmony with the vibration will start to vibrate as well.
As I surf on the Internet and read the blogs pertaining to the subject a lot of the message about the Law of Attraction goes to just “thinking” about what you want.
The problem, as I see it with this line of thinking is it takes the action out of the picture.
ACTION is required in the Law of Attraction.
ACTION is the only way that the universe knows that your serious about attracting what you desire.
In the example above, the action was hitting the tuning fork. The hitting was the action that started the vibration.
ACTION is the price of admission to your dreams and desires.
My mentor, Jim Rohn, says “Affirmation without action is delusion.”
RIGHT ACTION makes it happen quicker. There is a lot of knowledge available that can help make your journey to your desire come to you a little quicker.
The problem here is that people like to read these books and apply the principles “buffet style.”
“Buffet Style” meaning that they use the parts that feel comfortable for them but dismiss the uncomfortable parts as “not for them”.
But it’s “the not for them” parts of the instructions that will catapult them to the successes they desire.
